No Dial Tone just means that the Ingenico lost connection to the internet
- Make sure the etherent cable is properly plugged into the terminal and is plugged into the modem (ideally direct to modem, not through a switch
- Make sure the modem is working properly
- Turn the terminal off
- Reboot the modem
- Turn the machine back on once modem is back up and running
- Test w/ .01 transaction
- If that doesn't work, turn the machine off again
- Reroute the wire to the modem if not already there or switch the wire to a different port on the modem
- Turn the machine on
- Test w/ .01 transaction
If that doesn't work, swap the wire out. And if that doesn't work, put a placeholder Ingenico in the store and request a swap to Pat.
