No Dial Tone Troubleshooting

No Dial Tone just means that the Ingenico lost connection to the internet

  1. Make sure the etherent cable is properly plugged into the terminal and is plugged into the modem (ideally direct to modem, not through a switch
  2. Make sure the modem is working properly
  3. Turn the terminal off
  4. Reboot the modem
  5. Turn the machine back on once modem is back up and running
  6. Test w/ .01 transaction

  1. If that doesn't work, turn the machine off again
  2. Reroute the wire to the modem if not already there or switch the wire to a different port on the modem
  3. Turn the machine on
  4. Test w/ .01 transaction

If that doesn't work, swap the wire out. And if that doesn't work, put a placeholder Ingenico in the store and request a swap to Pat.
